Which poles?

Whether you are a casual walker or ultra marathon runner we have a pole

 to suit your needs

Why use poles?

- Reduced weight on your hips and back by 7-11 kg per step.

- Going up.... poles help you stay more upright allowing you to breathe easier, as well as giving an extra push.

- Coming down .... less strain is placed on the knees especially when carrying a heavy rucksack or running.

- Crossing streams or boggy ground ... poles are great to judge water depth and increase stability.

Trail running or light weight backpacking?

The Trail Blaze and Skyrunner and Skyrunner Ultra are amongst the lightest poles available and their durability makes them a good choice for both trail running and hiking. The carbon Skyrunner is about 10% lighter than the aluminium Trail Blaze. Both the carbon and aluminium poles are collapsible 3 or 4 section poles and fixed length.

The Expedition range has all the features, with fully anodized poles to help prevent corrosion. The Expedition Expert has an ergonomic grip allowing the pole to be held in a more natural and comfortable position. The Expedition EVA pole is available with either speedlock or the classic twist lock.
