Evan Allen is an ultra-runner known for his endurance, resilience, and ability to tackle some of the UK’s most demanding races. With a series of strong performances, including a 1st place finish at the Bowland Ultra (43 miles) in 2025 and podium placements in other major events, he has proven himself as a fierce competitor in the ultra-endurance world.

Building on his recent successes, Evan is preparing for an even bigger challenge in 2025, with a race calendar featuring some of the toughest ultra-distance events in the UK and Europe. He will take on The Fellsman (61 miles), a brutal high-level traverse across the Yorkshire Dales, notorious for its unpredictable weather, rough terrain, and significant elevation gain. Next, he will race the Lakeland 5 Passes Ultra (33 miles), a technical and demanding route covering five of the Lake District’s steepest ascents. His season will culminate in an international test of endurance at the Trail Verbier X-Traversée by UTMB (76km), a legendary alpine race with over 5,000m of elevation gain—a true test of both physical and mental grit.

With the extreme demands of these races, Evan will be using the Mountain King SkyRunner RaceDay poles as a key part of his kit for the year ahead.
